Our original flagship ghost tour, also known as a ghost walk or vampire tour, is great for all ages. Come get spirited away by the macabre and strange history of Traverse City! This tour will weave history, ghost stories, and paranormal stories in this fully packed ghost tour.
Join us on a prowl through downtown Traverse City, experiencing storytelling by your costumed tour guide. Walk on cobblestone streets toward Traverse City's first official settlement cemetery, Carnegie Library, and Perry Hannah House. Go back and learn how the dead influence the hauntings in downtown Traverse City as we visit the haunted State Theater, City Opera House, and WTCM Les Beiderman Building. Scary tales and the spirited history of Traverse City during our walking tours await!
You don't have to believe in ghosts to enjoy a good ghost story! Cynics are welcome! The history of Traverse City, buildings, and stories of those that lived before us are sure to entertain everyone!
Your tour guide is a local resident of Traverse City and will meet you 10 minutes prior to the start of your tour.
You will know your guide because the guide is dressed in a steampunk costume-a nod to the industry of Traverse City-and will be carrying a lantern. Please be patient if you arrive before your tour guide, she will be coming from work or another tour!

Tours start promptly, so please be on time! An arrival time of 10 minutes prior to this tour is best.
The nearest public restrooms are located on Park Street between Front and State Street about 5 minutes walking distance from where the tour meets.
The best place to park is at the
Larry C. Hardy Parking Garage located at 303 E State Street
To meet the tour, exit north at the East Front Street entrance. We will meet OUTSIDE the WTCM Les Biederman Building.

⌛ Historical Ghost Lantern Tour length is 90 minutes.
🚶♂️ Entirely outside, the tour length is 1.3 miles. The walking surfaces are sidewalks, dirt paths, & grass surfaces.
👻 A short, intro to ghost hunting with equipment provided during this tour at T.C.'s first official cemetery.
💲 This is an ALL AGES tour. Children 4 years old and under are free, children 5-10 $15, Adults $30.
😲 All ages are welcome. Parents' Discretion advised as subjects covered include macabre, suicide, death, and ghostly subjects.
♿ Tour can accommodate wheelchair users for all story locations, but the park where ghost hunting is done is not accessible due to a set of stairs. (No worries. We can accommodate by meeting up at the end of the park )
