Which means my most recommended beachfront is East Grand Traverse Bay Park near the State Campground. But be warned, a busy roadway operates right alongside this beach.

Pick a Hotel with shuttle services (many wine tours pick up at hotels)

Dress in a theme! FYI- the neon wig theme is observed every weekend. Do something unqiue! But don't stress too much about it:)
Popular Restaurants in Downtown TC can have long wait times, reservations recommended or give yourselves enough time for up to an hour wait during peak season. Try the food trucks instead in downtown TC (The Fleet).
Parking at Sara Hardy Parking Garage or metered parking on the street (usually metered parking stops at 6pm so pay attention to the meter's screen to see if you have to pay.
